I have also been doing couch-2-5k and actually enjoying it, I'm doing 28 minutes runs! Once i can do 5k confidently I think I'm going to do a 5-to-10k plan. In a month or two i'm going to be one of those neon shorts and tank top, swishy ponytail girls lol!

Fantasy au OR modern au: Fantasy au I love magic, dragons, elves and all that.
Mutual pining OR domestic bliss: Mutual pining, just cause I love angst with a happy ending domestic bliss in the epilogue.

Sherlock Holmes walking tour
I went on a Sherlock Holmes walking tour today, had a great time! The guide told a story (which I’d never heard before) about that scene in the Guy Ritchie film where Sherlock goes to have dinner with John and Mary. That scene was filmed in the Reform Club in London which is a private members club, and has a dress code. Men must wear a suit, including jacket and tie at all times ( it’s less restrictive for women but they still have to dress smart). Anyway they filmed there and everyone working inside not just the actors but cameramen, the sound, and lightning guys had to wear a jacket and tie while in the building.
Now if they were filming in winter it wouldn’t have been too bad. But they were filming in the middle of summer during a massive heatwave, with all the stage lights and everything the temperature was over forty degrees Celsius. They were filming for two days, but at some point ( the guide didn’t tell us when) Ritchie went to the manger and said the situation was ridiculous and it was too hot to follow the dress code. The manger said okay the men may take their jackets off, but the shirts must stay fully buttoned and the ties stay on. Which is still pretty ridiculous and assuming this story is true, those two days must have been hell ,for the tech and catering staff especially!
Another interesting thing was the bit about the Sherlock Holmes pub, Which was the Northumberland Hotel (which may have been where Henry Baskerville stayed when he was in London). And then the Northumberland Arms which was mentioned in the noble bachelor.
Then there was a Sherlock Holmes exhibition as part of the festival of Britain in 1951, which included items donated by the Doyle family, when the festival was over, and the exhibit was back from a world tour, nobody really knew where to put it so the pub, knowing their Sherlock Holmes connections, purchased the whole exhibit, changed it's name to the Sherlock Holmes, and set up the study you can see on the upstairs floor. So some of the stuff there may have actually been Conan Doyle's!
It's Autumn
And of course there's Halloween! I hardly ever do anything for it but there's always a fun atmosphere around, and you can buy big boxes of chocolate and sweets without judgement! This year it might be slightly ruined by Brexit, but let's not talk about that! (skeletons save us!)
Three things meme
Those who wish to participate will say so, and I will give them three topics, or spheres of interests, which I think they are not interested in, or maybe I would be even surprised to learn that they have an affinity with. It would be curious to learn who will be more surprised, those who hear what people think they are not interested in or cannot do, or those who learn that their expectations of people are either incorrect or spot on.
@out_there gave me tea, sunshine and stockings
Tea- I really like tea. I tend to stick to English breakfast, not so into green or peppermint and stuff like that. I probably get through a least four cups a day, sometimes as much as seven. A cup of tea is my go to for basically anything if I’m feeling stressed out or struggling with something I’ll get some tea and just take a moment to think and clam down.
I even make tea when a Fanfic or a program on tv get a little angsty. I also cannot go to bed without a cut of tea, even though I know it has caffeine in it so it can keep you up
Sunshine - sunshine is pretty much the best! It makes life possible literally and it always gives me a mood boost when the sun comes out, makes me more productive and it’s just great. I like it best in the summer when the sunshine is actually warm and the days are longer and I will channel my inner cat sometimes and just sit or lie in a nice sunny spot for a while. I love sitting out in the garden in the sunshine watching the birds and butterflies
But there’s also something about a crisp clean bright winter morning that’s really nice too
Stockings- honestly my favourite kind of stocking is a Christmas stocking on Christmas Day that is filled with presents.
When it comes to clothes I wear tights or leggings or just socks. I don’t own a single pair of stockings I don’t have anything against them I just never thought about buying or wearing them.
